Process development tip

Today a practical tip when you do process development (or process mapping).

Here is an OK description of what this is, and I have a ”add-on” that I want to share

Make sure your process is mapped ”horisontally” with the stakeholders (or who is responsible for doing it) along the side. (see figure).

It just makes your life easier in many ways:

-         The process map becomes easier to read
-         The crossing of lines from one dept to another becomes very visible. In your process development you want to have as few of these as possible. They create overhead, bottlenecks and misunderstandings.
-         An efficient processes usually looks good too, with a minimum of mess and crossing lines and ups and downs etc etc

Simple and easy ;-)
